Join JLR’s innovative Powertrain team as a Battery Test & Delivery Engineer, working at the forefront of Electric Vehicle development. Based at either Lyons Park Coventry or BatLab Gaydon, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality electrical characterisation and performance data for HV battery systems. Your expertise will ensure test preparation, planning, and execution are executed seamlessly, supporting the development and validation of iconic next-generation vehicles.
Ideal candidates will bring proven leadership skills, hands-on experience with lithium-ion battery testing, automation, and data analysis. Your problem-solving ability and commitment to safety will underpin successful test delivery in complex high-voltage environments. Mentoring technicians and apprentices, supporting process documentation, and contributing to team KPIs will be key parts of your role.
