Chartsign is partnering with a forward-thinking engineering organisation to find a talented Design Engineer specialised in CATIA V5/V6 and 3D Experience. If you have extensive experience in design for manufacture, tooling design, and a strong grasp of GD&T techniques, we want to hear from you.
In this role, you will be instrumental in translating engineering requirements into detailed digital models, collaborating with manufacturing teams to optimise designs for diecasting, injection moulding, and other processes. Your expertise will support design verification, material selection, and fixture/jig development, ensuring robust and manufacturable solutions.
We are seeking candidates with a proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes. Experience with design for six sigma and quality methodologies is highly desirable.
