Role Overview:
Our client is looking for a skilled CFD Engineer to support the development of thermal management systems and component durability across BEV, PHEV, and ICE platforms in Cheshire, North West. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver simulation-led insights while collaborating with cross-functional teams to influence product design from conception through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct 3D CFD simulations for thermal management and durability assessments.
- Communicate findings and implications effectively to system owners and stakeholders.
- Independently manage simulation activities and project timelines.
- Apply analytical skills to tackle complex design and engineering challenges.
- Collaborate actively with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Group Partners.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience with PowerFLOW, PowerTHERM, PowerDELTA, and ANSA.
- Strong understanding of vehicle aerodynamics, heat transfer, and thermal systems.
- Proven capability in building, executing, and reporting on CFD simulation models.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
