We require a circuit design engineer for our client, based in the West Midlands.
Initial workload will be to copy drawings in VeSys and redraw into Capital environment.
Following from the above the candidate will then be expected to complete engine wiring diagrams ready for audits and service release.
Key Responsibilities:
- To have a clear understanding of automotive electrical distribution systems and drawings.
- To liaise with system owners to understand circuit requirements, design and layout.
- To maintain, control and update all CAD or paper circuit records and data in the support of project related work.
- To have a working knowledge of VeSys and Captial circuit tools.
- Co-ordinate circuit requirements with customers, project engineers and support changes as required.
- Knowledge of JLR/circuit requirements.
- Control, record and implement engineering changes to circuit drawings.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience Required:
- Degree in Engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience in lieu of education.
- Strong Vesys and Capital experience.
