Are you a seasoned Component Engineer with expertise in static sealing of body structures? We are seeking a Senior Component Engineer to join a forward-thinking automotive company, specialising in body-in-white (BIW) and vehicle body engineering.
In this role, you will be responsible for selecting, approving, and qualifying purchased components integral to body structures and sealing systems. Your proven background in component validation, design review, and troubleshooting will ensure components meet quality, reliability, and cost requirements. You will work independently, managing projects and providing mentorship to junior team members, tackling complex technical challenges with a solutions-focused approach.
Your expertise in body joints, water/dust sealing, NVH sealing, and sealant and adhesive materials will be essential to succeed.
