Main Purpose of the Role
As a Facilities Engineer, you will maintain the general upkeep of the building and site. You will be responsible for maintenance of overall plant equipment to ensure that it is operational and business critical functions are maintained. You will also be involved in the preventative maintenance and repair of the packhouse machinery when required.
Key Skills
- Electrical experience
- Experience of Pneumatic process control circuits and compressed air systems with the ability to read schematic drawings
- A minimum level of GCSE or NVQ level 2 with experience gained in a dynamic environment where response and equipment turnaround times are critical
- Refrigeration plant and control systems experience preferred
The hours of work:
A variable shift pattern equating to 80 hours per 2-week period, including weekend work (alternate weekends).
Daily hours: either 07:00 – 16:00 or 08:00 – 17:00 (8 hours + 1 hour unpaid lunchbreak).
Example pattern: 4 On / 1 Day off / 2 Days on / 1 Day off / 4 Days on / 2 Days off.
Remuneration
This role pays £30 – 35k (negotiable).
