As Integration Engineer your responsibilities will include:
- This full-time role makes a vital contribution in supporting the development and bringing to market of new Client vehicles.
- Liaison with suppliers both internal and external to deliver a robust vehicle control system.
- Lead the development of Feature Integration into the new vehicle programmes
- Validation and support for vehicle programmes
- Support implementation of body (and other features) into vehicle modules
- Validation of Low Voltage systems
- Support problem solving activities on Vehicle Electronics topics
- Ensure proper validation and assessment for electrical and electronic parts
- Travel between customer sites and suppliers within the UK and Europe if required
- Calibration of sensing systems for vehicle modules
- Ensure professional relationships with our suppliers, including selection and management
- Support the Principal Engineer – EEI Test and Integration with development and validation activities as appropriate
- Knowledge of vehicle architecture, control systems and testing, EMC, requirement writing and validation planning.
Candidates will be HND or degree qualified with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an automotive development field. This position requires a dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who is self-motivated and able to work as part of an integrated team. They will be passionate, enthusiastic, confident and personable with the ability to deliver to high standard under critical time restraints.
