Are you a passionate Materials Test or Metallurgical Engineer seeking an exciting opportunity within the automotive or manufacturing sector? Chartsign is partnering with a leading employer to find a dedicated Laboratory Tech Analyst to join their dynamic team.
In this role, you will conduct comprehensive metallurgical, mechanical, and destructive testing on components such as batteries, EDUs, and frames. Your expertise will support quality assurance processes, including weld and radiographic inspections, microscopy, and materials analysis, ensuring standards like IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 are upheld.
Ideal candidates will have experience with metallurgical preparation, testing equipment, and interpreting engineering drawings. A background in steel, aluminium, and proficiency with equipment like optical microscopes and ultrasonic testers is essential. Desirable skills include CT scan interpretation, welding knowledge, and CSWIP inspection certification.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced professionals with a minimum Level 3 qualification in engineering, science, or welding. Enjoy a structured 39-hour week, working on rotating shifts, with supportive and innovative colleagues.
