Join our innovative team as a Lead Mass Properties Engineer and help shape the future of automotive engineering. We are looking for a dedicated professional to own and coordinate vehicle weight data across all functions, ensuring programme-level targets are met with precision. Your expertise in calculating vehicle mass properties from geometry and first principles, along with your experience in modelling, data analysis, and validation, will be crucial to success.
In this role, you will lead the creation of Loading Charts, verify weights on prototype and production vehicles, and support homologation and certification processes. You will also monitor weight targets via benchmarking, produce programme health charts, and ensure compliance through detailed testing and validation documentation.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong customer-focused mindset, with a solid understanding of weight distribution, mass properties, and whole vehicle attributes. Your proficiency with CAD, Excel, and parametric models will enable you to contribute effectively across project milestones.
