We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented “Manufacturing Controls Automotive Technician” to join our client’s Manufacturing Controls Function. This role offers a chance to be part of a small team of engineers and contribute to the continued development of the Manufacturing Controls Function.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Ensure all vehicles are electrically sound and fit for sale, with pre-test inspection, maintenance and repair.
- Thoroughly diagnose any faults and provide a resolution, with minimal impact to production.
- Provide feedback of concerns and suggest improvements to processes and product.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Ability to analyse and interpret technical electrical diagrams and schematics
- Understanding of how systems and processes interact with electrical systems
- Good communication and IT skills
- Diploma in Auto Electrical, BTEC ONC/HNC Automotive Diagnostics (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge and experience of diagnostics tools (especially Softing DTS)
- Ability to ask succinct questions and troubleshoot vehicle electrical systems
- Methodical approach to diagnostic fault analysis
