You will evaluate manufacturing feasibility, ensuring design for manufacture (DFM) principles are seamlessly integrated into vehicle development, including BIW, powertrain, and final assembly. Your insights will influence style, design, and process strategies, supporting efficient production lines, tooling, and cycle time optimisation.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on complex problem resolution, virtual build validation, and best practice benchmarking within a collaborative environment. Your experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering will contribute directly to launching world-class vehicles into production, especially within the OEM or automotive sector.
Key skills include knowledge of assembly techniques, dimensional management, and virtual build tools like CATIA V5. An HNC/degree in an engineering or science discipline, combined with practical industry experience, will help you thrive in this role.
