Join our client's innovative team as a Contract NVH Modal Test Engineer and play a key role in advancing vehicle performance. In this position, you'll be responsible for measuring, analysing and reporting vehicle, system, and component modal performance, ensuring it aligns with critical gateway standards. You will conduct lab-based transfer function measurements to support NVH attribute investigations, including Transfer Path Analysis for road, powertrain, and simulator assessments.
Your expertise will also contribute to correlation work with CAE teams, enhancing future modelling and simulations. The role requires hands-on experience with impact hammer and shaker testing, a solid understanding of modal and transfer function analysis, and a methodical approach to high-quality testing and reporting. You'll maintain the Gaydon Modal lab workspace and support continuous improvement initiatives.
