Physical Controls Human Factors Engineer - Gaydon

Our client is seeking a dedicated Human Factors Engineer specialising in physical controls and user interfaces to join their team in Gaydon, West Midlands.

 

In this role, you'll support the development and ownership of Human Factors requirements for vehicle user controls, contributing to safe, intuitive, and ergonomic control interfaces. Your expertise in human factors, ergonomics, and usability testing will ensure these interfaces meet rigorous standards. Collaborate with UX Designers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to create optimal user experiences within an automotive context, employing Agile tools like JIRA and Confluence for efficient project delivery.

 

Key responsibilities include requirement analysis, issue resolution, competitor benchmarking, and human factors assessments. The ideal candidate will possess a background in Human Factors, Ergonomics, or Product Design, with relevant automotive experience preferred.
