Join our client’s team as a Senior Manufacturing Facilities Engineer within the Global Manufacturing Engineering – Trim and Final MLA Facilities team at Solihull. This pivotal role is tailored for experienced engineers specialising in automotive manufacturing, vehicle assembly, and plant facilities.
In this position, you'll oversee multiple new model introductions, model year changes, and modified facilities. You’ll be responsible for managing projects from concept to handover, ensuring technical excellence, safety by design, and effective contractor management in line with JLR standards. Your expertise in project delivery, risk mitigation, and problem solving will be key to optimise throughput and quality while maintaining production continuity.
We seek candidates with a solid background in CAPEX project management, feasibility reviews, and supplier oversight. Your ability to coordinate stakeholders and effectively manage contractors will contribute to successful plant and equipment rollouts. The role offers potential for additional hours midweek or weekends to meet project deadlines.
