Key Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of Supportability Engineering and Design for Through-Life.
- Proficiency in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Integrated Product Support (IPS) principles.
- Familiarity with ASD/AIA SX000i, the International Specification for IPS.
- Expertise in Availability, Reliability, Maintainability (ARM) methodologies.
- Understanding of Human Factors in Maintenance for optimized operations.
- Experience in Reliability Centered and Condition Based Maintenance strategies.
- Proven background in Prognostics and Health Monitoring, applied to Mission Systems, Flight Systems, and Airframe.
- Knowledge of British Standard PAS280:2018 and associated practices.
- Familiarity with Reliasoft and/or Eagle Toolsets for efficient analysis.
- Ability to architect Support Service information interfaces to various digital backbones, including Supply Chain, Maintenance & Continuing Airworthiness, and 3rd Party stakeholders.
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, using Visual Studio.
- Independent and adaptable, thriving in a dynamic environment.
- Proactive thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Security Clearance or Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (BPSS) required.
Desirable Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience in mentoring and developing team members.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence in delivering presentations to diverse stakeholders.
- General understanding of Military aircraft domain, showcasing interest.
Qualifications:
- HND/HNC, degree (BSc/BEng/MSc/MEng) in a relevant STEM-based subject, or equivalent experience.
- Sole British National with the capacity to pass background checks (SC clearance) for Defence-related projects.
