Overall purpose of the job:
The role of Sales Manager is a newly created position which will report directly to the Managing Director and will offer the real opportunity to progress to work on new accounts creation and build positive relationships with clients.
Main tasks/duties and responsibilities
- Strong Engineering & Self driven to acquire new customers.
- Be the company voice: Participate in Webinars, Industry events, represent the company in the market
- Account Mining & Hunting for new Prospects from the existing Accounts.
- Liaise with other areas of the business as required to ensure a smooth service is provided to the clients.
- Development of both new & existing business relationships.
- The candidate will have a successful track record as an Engineering Sales Manager / Business Development professional within the engineering sector.
- Technical/Engineering background
Skills and knowledge required
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the past in any Automotive/ Aerospace / Rail or Engineering Sectors
- Project management experience
- Background in sales and customer service is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM/project management software
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Direct development of technical and operational strategy.
- Collaborate with solutions delivery architects.
- Customer-oriented approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
