Vehicle Technician - Gaydon

Are you an experienced vehicle or electrical technician with a passion for innovative vehicle technologies?

Chartsign is supporting a leading organisation in recruiting a Prototype & Evaluation Technician to join their dynamic team dedicated to PHEV, MHEV, and BEV vehicles. In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and rectifying pre-production prototype vehicles used for real-world assessments. Your expertise in wiring, harness drawing interpretation, diagnostics, and fault diagnosis will be essential in ensuring vehicles meet the highest standards for launch and evaluation activities.

Knowledge of tools such as Topix, FMS, Salesforce, and IQM is highly advantageous. You'll be involved in electrical/mechanical repair, root cause analysis, and delivering safety compliant work while supporting the team through detailed reporting and technical communication.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a Level 3 qualification, apprenticeship background, or equivalent experience, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving.
