Are you an experienced JLR Class 3 Permit Holder with a valid 1PG licence and a strong background in vehicle testing and development?
We are looking for a Vehicle Test Driver to support a leading automotive OEM in Warwickshire, working across vehicle development, testing and validation activities involving prototype and development vehicles.
In this role, you will operate vehicles as part of structured engineering test programmes, supporting engineers and technicians with vehicle evaluation, fault identification and technical feedback. You will be expected to work safely and professionally within controlled test environments while contributing to the development and validation of future vehicle programmes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Driving prototype and development vehicles as part of engineering test activities
- Supporting vehicle testing, validation and evaluation programmes
- Providing accurate feedback on vehicle performance and behaviour
- Carrying out vehicle checks and supporting inspection activities
- Recording test information and completing relevant documentation
- Working closely with engineering and technical teams
- Maintaining high standards of safety and compliance at all times
To be considered, you will need:
- Valid JLR Class 3 Permit
- Valid 1PG licence
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience driving prototype or development vehicles
- A strong understanding of safe vehicle operation and test procedures
- Good communication skills and the ability to provide clear technical feedback
- A practical, professional approach to vehicle testing and development
